創世記 5

첫째달 2日次

아담에서 노아까지

 

1아담 子孫의 系譜가 이러하니라 하나님이 사람을 創造하실 때에 하나님의 形像대로 지으시되

2男子와 女子를 創造하셨고 그들이 創造되던 날에 하나님이 그들에게 福을 주시고 그들의 이름을 사람이라 일컬으셨더라

3아담이 一百 三十歲에 자기 某樣 곧 자기 形像과 같은 아들을 낳아 이름을 셋이라 하였고

4아담이 셋을 낳은 후 八百年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

5그가 九百 三十歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

6셋은 一百 五歲에 에노스를 낳았고

7에노스를 낳은 후 八百 七年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

8그가 九百 十 二歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

9에노스는 九十歲에 게난을 낳았고

10게난을 낳은 후 八百十 五年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

11그가 九百 五歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

12게난은 七十歲에 마할랄렐을 낳았고

13마할랄렐을 낳은 후 八百 四十年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

14그가 九百 十歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

15마할랄렐은 六十 五歲에 야렛을 낳았고

16야렛을 낳은 後 八 百三十年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

17그가 八百 九十 五歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

18야렛은 一 百六十 二歲에 에녹을 낳았고

19에녹을 낳은 後 八百年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

20그가 九百 六十 二歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

21에녹은 六十 五歲에 므두셀라를 낳았고

22므두셀라를 낳은 後 三百年을 하나님과 同行하며 子女를 낳았으며

23그가 三百六十 五歲를 享壽하였더라

24에녹이 하나님과 同行하더니 하나님이 그를 데려 가시므로 世上에 있지 아니하였더라

25므두셀라는 一百 八十 七歲에 라멕을 낳았고

26라멕을 낳은 후  七百八十 二年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

27그는 九百 六十 九歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

28라멕은 一百 八十 二歲에 아들을 낳고

29이름을 노아라 하여 가로되 여호와께서 땅을 詛呪하시므로 受苦로이 일하는 우리를 이 아들이 安慰하리라 하였더라

30라멕이 노아를 낳은 후 五百 九十 五年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

31그는 七百 七十 七歲를 享壽하고 죽었더라

32노아가 五百歲 된 後에 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았더라

 

創世記 6

첫째달 2日次

사악한 세상

 

1사람이 땅위에 蕃盛하기 始作할 때에 그들에게서 딸들이 나니

2하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들의 아름다움을 보고 自己들의 좋아하는 모든 者로 아내를 삼는지라

3여호와께서 가라사대 나의 神이 永遠히 사람과 함께 하지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 肉體가 됨이라 그러나 그들의 날은 一百 二十年이 되리라 하시니라

4당시에 땅에 네피림이 있었고 그 後에도 하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들을 取하여 子息을 낳았으니 그들이 勇士라 古代에 有名한 사람이었더라

5여호와께서 사람의 罪惡이 世上에 貫盈함과 그 마음의 生角의 모든 計劃이 恒常 惡할 뿐임을 보시고

6땅위에 사람 지으셨음을 恨嘆하사 마음에 근심하시고

7가라사대 나의 創造한 사람을 내가 地面에서 쓸어 버리되 사람으로부터 六畜과 기는 것과 空中의 새까지 그리하리니 이는 내가 그것을 지었음을 恨嘆 함이니라 하시니라

8그러나 노아는 여호와께 恩惠를 입었더라

9노아의 事蹟은 이러하니라 노아는 義人이요 當世에 完全한 者라 그가 하나님과 同行하였으며

10그가 세 아들을 낳았으니 셈과 함과 야벳이라

11때에 온 땅이 하나님 앞에 悖壞하여 强暴가 땅에 充滿한지라

12하나님이 보신즉 땅이 悖壞하였으니 이는 땅에서 모든 血肉 있는 者의 行爲가 悖壞함이었더라

13하나님이 노아에게 이르시되 모든 血肉 있는 者의 强暴가 땅에 가득하므로 그 끝날이 내 앞에 이르렀으니 내가 그들을 땅과 함께 滅하리라

14너는 잣나무로 너를 爲하여 方舟를 짓되 그 안에 間들을 막고 瀝靑으로 그 안팎에 칠하라

15그 方舟의 制度는 이러하니 長이 三百 규빗, 廣이 五十 규빗, 高가 三十 규빗이며

16거기 窓을 내되 위에서부터 한 규빗에 내고 그 門은 옆으로 내고 上 中 下 三層으로 할찌니라

17내가 洪水를 땅에 일으켜 무릇 生命의 氣息 있는 肉體를 天下에서 滅絶하리니 땅에 있는 者가 다 죽으리라

18그러나 너와는 내가 내 言約을 세우리니 너는 네 아들들과 네 아내와 네 子婦들과 함께 그 方舟로 들어가고

19血肉 있는 모든 生物을 너는 각기 암 수 한雙씩 方舟로 이끌어 들여 너와 함께 生命을 保存케 하되

20새가 그 種類대로, 六畜이 그 種類대로, 땅에 기는 모든 것이 그 種類대로 各其 둘씩 네게로 나아오리니 그 生命을 保存케 하라

21너는 먹을 모든 食物을 네게로 가져다가 貯蓄하라 이것이 너와 그들의  食物이 되리라

22노아가 그와 같이 하되 하나님이 자기에게 命하신대로 다 遵行하였더라

 

創世記 7章

첫째달 2日次

 

1여호와께서 노아에게 이르시되 너와 네 온 집은 方舟로 들어가라 네가 이 世代에 내 앞에서 義로움을 내가 보았음이니라

2너는 모든 淨潔한 짐승은 암 수 일곱씩, 不淨한 것은 암 수 둘씩을 네게로 取하며

3空中의 새도 암 수 일곱씩을 取하여 그 씨를 온 地面에 遺傳케 하라

4지금부터 칠일이면 내가 四十 晝夜를 땅에 비를 내려 나의 지은 모든 生物을 地面에서 쓸어 버리리라

5노아가 여호와께서 자기에게 命하신대로 다 遵行하였더라

6홍수가 땅에 있을 때에 노아가 六白歲라

7노아가 아들들과 아내와 子婦들과 함께 洪水를 避하여 方舟에 들어갔고

8淨潔한 짐승과 不淨한 짐승과 새와 땅에 기는 모든 것이

9하나님이 노아에게 命하신대로 암 수 둘씩 노아에게 나아와 方舟로 들어갔더니

10七日 후에 洪水가 땅에 덮이니

11노아 六百嵗 되던 해 二月 곧 그 달 十七日이라 그 날에 큰 깊음의 샘들이 터지며 하늘의 窓들이 열려

12四十 晝夜를 비가 땅에 쏟아졌더라

13곧 그 날에 노아와 그의 아들 셈, 함, 야벳과 노아의 妻와 세 子婦가 다 方舟로 들어갔고

14그들과 모든 들짐승이 그 種類대로, 모든 六畜이 그 種類대로, 땅에 기는 모든 것이 그 種類대로, 모든 새 곧 各樣의 새가 그 種類대로

15무릇 氣息이 있는 肉體가 둘씩 노아에게 나아와 方舟로 들어갔으니

16들어간 것들은 모든 것의 암 수라 하나님이 그에게 命하신대로 들어가매 여호와께서 그를 닫아 넣으시니라

17洪水가 땅에 四十日을 있었는지라 물이 많아져 方舟가 땅에서 떠 올랐고

18물이 더 많아져 땅에 漲溢하매 方舟가 물위에 떠 다녔으며

19물이 땅에 더욱 漲溢하매 天下에 높은 山이 다 덮였더니

20물이 불어서 十 五 규빗이 오르매 山들이 덮인지라

21땅위에 움직이는 生物이 다 죽었으니 곧 새와 六畜과 들짐승과 땅에 기는 모든 것과 모든 사람이라

22陸地에 있어 코로 生物의 氣息을 呼吸하는 것은 다 죽었더라

23地面의 모든 生物을 쓸어버리시니 곧 사람과 짐승과 기는 것과 空中의 새까지라 이들은 땅에서 쓸어버림을 當하였으되 홀로 노아와 그와 함께 方舟에 있던 者만 남았더라

24물이 一百 五十日을 땅에 漲溢하였더라

 

創世記 8

첫째달 2日次

 

1하나님이 노아와 그와 함께 方舟에 있는 모든 들짐승과 六畜을 眷念하사 바람으로 땅위에 불게 하시매 물이 減하였고

2깊음의 샘과 하늘의 窓이 막히고 하늘에서 비가 그치매

3물이 땅에서 물러가고 점점 물러가서 一百 五十日 後에 減하고

4七月 곧 그 달 十七日에 方舟가 아라랏山에 머물렀으며

5물이 점점 감하여 十月 곧 그달 一日에 山들의 봉우리가 보였더라

6四十日을 지나서 노아가 그 方舟에 지은 窓을 열고

7까마귀를 내어 놓으매 까마귀가 물이 땅에서 마르기까지 날아 往來하였더라

8그가 또 비둘기를 내어 놓아 地面에 물이 減한 與否를 알고자 하매

9온 地面에 물이 있으므로 비둘기가 接足할 곳을 찾지 못하고 方舟로 돌아와 그에게로 오는지라 그가 손을 내밀어 方舟 속 自己에게로 받아 들이고

10또 七日을 기다려 다시 비둘기를 方舟에서 내어놓으매

11저녁때에 비둘기가 그에게로 돌아왔는데 그 입에 橄欖 새 잎사귀가 있는지라 이에 노아가 땅에 물이 減한줄 알았으며

12또 七日을 기다려 비둘기를 내어 놓으매 다시는 그에게로 돌아 오지 아니하였더라

13六百 一年 正月 곧 그 달 一日에 地面에 물이 걷힌지라 노아가 方舟 뚜껑을 제치고 본즉 地面에 물이 걷혔더니

14二月 二十七日에 땅이 말랐더라

15하나님이 노아에게 말씀하여 가라사대

16너는 네 아내와 네 아들들과 네 子婦들로 더불어 方舟에서 나오고

17너와 함께한 모든 血肉 있는 生物 곧 새와 六畜과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다 이끌어 내라 이것들이 땅에서 生肉하고 땅에서 蕃盛하리라 하시매

18노아가 그 아들들과 그 아내와 그 子婦들과 함께 나왔고

19땅위의 動物 곧 모든 짐승과 모든 기는 것과 모든 새도 그 種類대로 方舟에서 나왔더라

20노아가 여호와를 위하여 壇을 쌓고 모든 정결한 짐승 中에서와 모든 淨潔한 새 中에서 취하여 燔祭로 壇에 드렸더니

21여호와께서 그 香氣를 歆饗하시고 그 中心에 이르시되 내가 다시는 사람으로 因하여 땅을 詛呪하지 아니하리니 이는 사람의 마음의 計劃하는 바가 어려서부터 惡함이라 내가 전에 行한 것 같이 모든 生物을 滅하지 아니하리니

22땅이 있을 동안에는 심음과 거둠과 추위와 더위와 여름과 겨울과 낮과 밤이 쉬지 아니하리라

Genesis five

From Adam to Noah

 

 아담 자손의 계보가 이러하니라 하나님이 사람을 창조하실 때에 하나님의 형상대로 지으시되

This is the written account of Adam’s family line.

When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.

 남자와 여자를 창조하셨고 그들이 창조되던 날에 하나님이 그들에게 복을 주시고 그들의 이름을 사람이라 일컬으셨더라

He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created.

 아담이 일백 삼십세에 자기 모양 곧 자기 형상과 같은 아들을 낳아 이름을 셋이라 하였고

When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.

 아담이 셋을 낳은 후 팔백년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그가 구백 삼십세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.

 셋은 일백 오세에 에노스를 낳았고

When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father of Enosh.

 에노스를 낳은 후 팔백 칠년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그가 구백 십 이세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.

 에노스는 구십세에 게난을 낳았고

When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan.

 게난을 낳은 후 팔백 십 오년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그가 구백 오세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.

 게난은 칠십세에 마할랄렐을 낳았고

When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel.

 마할랄렐을 낳은 후 팔백 사십년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters.

 가 구백 십세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.

 마할랄렐은 육십 오세에 야렛을 낳았고

When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared.

 야렛을 낳은 후 팔백 삼십년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그가 팔백  구십 오세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.

 야렛은 일백 육십 이세에 에녹을 낳았고

When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.

 에녹을 낳은 후 팔백년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그가 구백 육십 이세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.

 에녹은 육십 오세에 므두셀라를 낳았고

When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.

 므두셀라를 낳은 후 삼백년을 하나님과 동행하며 자녀를 낳았으며

After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그가 삼백 육십 오세를 향수하였더라

Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years.

 에녹이 하나님과 동행하더니 하나님이 그를 데려 가시므로 세상에 있지 아니하였더라

Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

 므두셀라는 일백 팔십 칠세에 라멕을 낳았고

When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.

 라멕을 낳은 후 칠백 팔십 이년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그는 구백 육십 구세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.

 라멕은 일백 팔십 이세에 아들을 낳고

When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son.

 이름을 노아라 하여 가로되 여호와께서 땅을 저주하시므로 수고로이 일하는 우리를 이 아들이 안위하리라 하였더라

He named him Noah and said, “He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.”

 라멕이 노아를 낳은 후 오백 구십 오년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.

 그는 칠백 칠십 칠세를 향수하고 죽었더라

Altogether, Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.

 노아가 오백세 된 후에 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았더라

After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth.

사악한 세상

Genesis six

Wickedness in the World

 

 사람이 땅위에 번성하기 시작할 때에 그들에게서 딸들이 나니

When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,

 하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들의 아름다움을 보고 자기들의 좋아하는 모든 자로 아내를 삼는지라

the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.

 여호와께서 가라사대 나의 신이 영원히 사람과 함께 하지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 육체가 됨이라 그러나 그들의 날은 일백 이십년이 되리라 하시니라

Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

 당시에 땅에 네피림이 있었고 그 후에도 하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들을 취하여 자식을 낳았으니 그들이 용사라 고대에 유명한 사람이었더라

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

여호와께서 사람의 죄악이 세상에 관영함과 그 마음의 생각의 모든 계획이 항상 악할 뿐임을 보시고

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

 땅위에 사람 지으셨음을 한탄하사 마음에 근심하시고

he Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.

 가라사대 나의 창조한 사람을 내가 지면에서 쓸어 버리되 사람으로부터 육축과 기는 것과 공중의 새까지 그리하리니 이는 내가 그것을 지었음을 한탄함이니라 하시니라

So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.”

 그러나 노아는 여호와께 은혜를 입었더라

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah and the Flood

 노아의 사적은 이러하니라 노아는 의인이요 당세에 완전한 자라 그가 하나님과 동행하였으며

This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

 그가 세 아들을 낳았으니 셈과 함과 야벳이라

Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.

 때에 온 땅이 하나님 앞에 패괴하여 강포가 땅에 충만한지라

Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence.

 하나님이 보신즉 땅이 패괴하였으니 이는 땅에서 모든 혈육 있는 자의 행위가 패괴함이었더라

God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.

 하나님이 노아에게 이르시되 모든 혈육 있는 자의 강포가 땅에 가득하므로 그 끝날이 내 앞에 이르렀으니 내가 그들을 땅과 함께 멸하리라

So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

 너는 잣나무로 너를 위하여 방주를 짓되 그 안에 간들을 막고 역청으로 그 안팎에 칠하라

So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.

 그 방주의 제도는 이러하니 장이 삼백 규빗, 광이 오십 규빗, 고가 삼십 규빗이며

This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.

 거기 창을 내되 위에서부터 한 규빗에 내고 그 문은 옆으로 내고 상 중 하 삼층으로 할찌니라

Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.

 내가 홍수를 땅에 일으켜 무릇 생명의 기식 있는 육체를 천하에서 멸절하리니 땅에 있는 자가 다 죽으리라

I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.

 그러나 너와는 내가 내 언약을 세우리니 너는 네 아들들과 네 아내와 네 자부들과 함께 그 방주로 들어가고

But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.

 혈육 있는 모든 생물을 너는 각기 암 수 한쌍씩 방주로 이끌어 들여 너와 함께 생명을 보존케 하되

You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.

 새가 그 종류대로, 육축이 그 종류대로, 땅에 기는 모든 것이 그 종류대로 각기 둘씩 네게로 나아오리니 그 생명을 보존케 하라

Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.

 너는 먹을 모든 식물을 네게로 가져다가 저축하라 이것이 너와 그들의 식물이 되리라

You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”

 노아가 그와 같이 하되 하나님이 자기에게 명하신대로 다 준행하였더라

Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

 

창세기 칠장

Genesis seven

 

 여호와께서 노아에게 이르시되 너와 네 온 집은 방주로 들어가라 네가 이 세대에 내 앞에서 의로움을 내가 보았음이니라

The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.

 너는 모든 정결한 짐승은 암 수 일곱씩, 부정한 것은 암 수 둘씩을 네게로 취하며

Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate,

 공중의 새도 암 수 일곱씩을 취하여 그 씨를 온 지면에 유전케 하라

and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.

 지금부터 칠일이면 내가 사십 주야를 땅에 비를 내려 나의 지은 모든 생물을 지even days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”면에서 쓸어 버리리라

 

 노아가 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신대로 다 준행하였더라

And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.

 홍수가 땅에 있을 때에 노아가 육백세라

Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.

 노아가 아들들과 아내와 자부들과 함께 홍수를 피하여 방주에 들어갔고

nd Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.

 정결한 짐승과 부정한 짐승과 새와 땅에 기는 모든 것이

Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground,

 하나님이 노아에게 명하신대로 암 수 둘씩 노아에게 나아와 방주로 들어갔더니

male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah.

 칠일 후에 홍수가 땅에 덮이니

And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.

 노아 육백세 되던 해 이월 곧 그 달 십칠일이라 그 날에 큰 깊음의 샘들이 터지며 하늘의 창들이 열려

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.

 사십 주야를 비가 땅에 쏟아졌더라

And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.

 곧 그 날에 노아와 그의 아들 셈, 함, 야벳과 노아의 처와 세 자부가 다 방주로 들어갔고

On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.

 그들과 모든 들짐승이 그 종류대로, 모든 육축이 그 종류대로, 땅에 기는 모든 것이 그 종류대로, 모든 새 곧 각양의 새가 그 종류대로

They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings.

 무릇 기식이 있는 육체가 둘씩 노아에게 나아와 방주로 들어갔으니

Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.

 들어간 것들은 모든 것의 암 수라 하나님이 그에게 명하신대로 들어가매 여호와께서 그를 닫아 넣으시니라

The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord shut him in.

 홍수가 땅에 사십일을 있었는지라 물이 많아져 방주가 땅에서 떠 올랐고

For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.

 물이 더 많아져 땅에 창일하매 방주가 물위에 떠 다녔으며

The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.

 물이 땅에 더욱 창일하매 천하에 높은 산이 다 덮였더니

They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.

 물이 불어서 십 오 규빗이 오르매 산들이 덮인지라

The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.

 땅위에 움직이는 생물이 다 죽었으니 곧 새와 육축과 들짐승과 땅에 기는 모든 것과 모든 사람이라

Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

 육지에 있어 코로 생물의 기식을 호흡하는 것은 다 죽었더라

Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.

지면의 모든 생물을 쓸어버리시니 곧 사람과 짐승과 기는 것과 공중의 새까지라 이들은 땅에서 쓸어버림을 당하였으되 홀로 노아와 그와 함께 방주에 있던 자만 남았더라

Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.

 

물이 일백 오십일을 땅에 창일하였더라

The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.

 

창세기 팔장

Genesis eight

 하나님이 노아와 그와 함께 방주에 있는 모든 들짐승과 육축을 권념하사 바람으로 땅위에 불게 하시매 물이 감하였고

But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.

 깊음의 샘과 하늘의 창이 막히고 하늘에서 비가 그치매

Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.

 물이 땅에서 물러가고 점점 물러가서 일백 오십일 후에 감하고

The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down,

 칠월 곧 그 달 십칠일에 방주가 아라랏산에 머물렀으며

and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

 물이 점점 감하여 시월 곧 그달 일일에 산들의 봉우리가 보였더라

The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.

 사십일을 지나서 노아가 그 방주에 지은 창을 열고

After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark

 까마귀를 내어 놓으매 까마귀가 물이 땅에서 마르기까지 날아 왕래하였더라

and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.

 그가 또 비둘기를 내어 놓아 지면에 물이 감한 여부를 알고자 하매

Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.

 온 지면에 물이 있으므로 비둘기가 접족할 곳을 찾지 못하고 방주로 돌아와 그에게로 오는지라 그가 손을 내밀어 방주 속 자기에게로 받아 들이고

But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.

 또 칠일을 기다려 다시 비둘기를 방주에서 내어놓으매

He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.

 저녁때에 비둘기가 그에게로 돌아왔는데 그 입에 감람 새 잎사귀가 있는지라 이에 노아가 땅에 물이 감한줄 알았으며

When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.

 또 칠일을 기다려 비둘기를 내어 놓으매 다시는 그에게로 돌아 오지 아니하였더라

He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.

 육백 일년 정월 곧 그 달 일일에 지면에 물이 걷힌지라 노아가 방주 뚜껑을 제치고 본즉 지면에 물이 걷혔더니

By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.

 이월 이십칠일에 땅이 말랐더라

By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.

 하나님이 노아에게 말씀하여 가라사대

Then God said to Noah,

 너는 네 아내와 네 아들들과 네 자부들로 더불어 방주에서 나오고

“Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.

 너와 함께한 모든 혈육 있는 생물 곧 새와 육축과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다 이끌어 내라 이것들이 땅에서 생육하고 땅에서 번성하리라 하시매

Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you—the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground—so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number on it.”

 노아가 그 아들들과 그 아내와 그 자부들과 함께 나왔고

So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives.

 땅위의 동물 곧 모든 짐승과 모든 기는 것과 모든 새도 그 종류대로 방주에서 나왔더라

All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on land—came out of the ark, one kind after another.

 노아가 여호와를 위하여 단을 쌓고 모든 정결한 짐승 중에서와 모든 정결한 새 중에서 취하여 번제로 단에 드렸더니

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.

여호와께서 그 향기를 흠향하시고 그 중심에 이르시되 내가 다시는 사람으로 인하여 땅을 저주하지 아니하리니 이는 사람의 마음의 계획하는 바가 어려서부터 악함이라 내가 전에 행한 것 같이 모든 생물을 멸하지 아니하리니

The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

 

땅이 있을 동안에는 심음과 거둠과 추위와 더위와 여름과 겨울과 낮과 밤이 쉬지 아니하리라

“As long as the earth endures,

seedtime and harvest,

cold and heat,

summer and winter,

day and night

will never cease.”
