창세기

 

 

첫째달 3日次

1. 하나님이 노아와 그 아들들에게 福을 주시며 그들에게 이르시되 生育하고 蕃盛하여 땅에 充滿하라 2. 땅의 모든 짐승과 空中의 모든 새와 땅에 기는 모든것과 바다의 모든 고기가 너희를 두려워하며 너희를 무서워하리니 이들은 너희 손에 붙이웠음이라 3. 무릇 산 동물은 너희의 食物이 될찌라 菜蔬 같이 내가 이것을 다 너희에게 주노라 4. 그러나 고기를 그 生命 되는 피채 먹지 말것이니라 5. 내가 반드시 너희 피 곧 너희 生命의 피를 찾으리니 짐승이면 그 짐승에게서, 사람이나 사람의 兄弟면 그에게서 그의 生命을 찾으리라

창세기9장

6. 무릇 사람의 피를 흘리면 사람이 그 피를 흘릴 것이니 이는 하나님이 자기 刑像대로 사람을 지었음이니라 7. 너희는 生育하고 蕃盛하며 땅에 遍滿하여 그 中에서 蕃盛하라 하셨더라 8. 하나님이 노아와 그와 함께한 아들들에게 일러 가라사대 9. 내가 내 言約을 너희와 너희 後孫과   10. 너희와 함께한 모든 生物 곧 너희와 함께한 새와 六畜과 땅의 모든 生物에게 세우리니 方舟에서 나온 모든것 곧 땅의 모든 짐승에게니라

11. 내가 너희와 言約을 세우리니 다시는 모든 生物을 洪水로 滅하지 아니할 것이라 땅을 沈沒할 洪水가 다시 있지 아니하리라 12. 하나님이 가라사대 내가 나와 너희와 및 너희와 함께하는 모든 生物 사이에 永世까지 세우는 言約의 證據는 이것이라 13. 내가 내 무지개를 구름 속에 두었나니 이것이 나의 世上과의 言約의 증거니라 14. 내가 구름으로 땅을 덮을 때에 무지개가 구름 속에 나타나면 15. 내가 나와 너희와 및 血氣 있는 모든 生物 사이의 내 言約을 기억하리니 다시는 물이 모든 血氣 있는 者를 멸하는 洪水가 되지 아니할찌라

16. 무지개가 구름 사이에 있으리니 내가 보고 나 하나님과 땅의 무릇 血氣 있는 모든 生物 사이에 된 永遠한 言約을 記憶하리라 17. 하나님이 노아에게 또 이르시되 내가 나와 땅에 있는 모든 生物 사이에 세운 言約의 證據가 이것이라 하셨더라 18. 方舟에서 나온 노아의 아들들은 셈과 함과 야벳이며 함은 가나안의 아비라 19. 노아의 이 세 아들로 좇아 백성이 온 땅에 퍼지니라 20. 노아가 農業을 始作하여 포도나무를 심었더니

21. 葡萄酒를 마시고 醉하여 그 帳幕 안에서 벌거벗은지라 22. 가나안의 아비 함이 그 아비의 下體를 보고 밖으로 나가서 두 兄弟에게 告하매   23. 셈과 야벳이 옷을 醉하여 자기들의 어깨에 메고 뒷걸음쳐 들어가서 아비의 下體에 덮었으며 그들이 얼굴을 돌이키고 그 아비의 下體를 보지 아니하였더라 24. 노아가 술이 깨어 그 작은 아들이 자기에게 行한 일을 알고 25. 이에 가로되 가나안은 詛呪를 받아 그 兄弟의 종들의 종이 되기를 願하노라

26. 또 가로되 셈의 하나님 여호와를 讚頌하리로다 가나안은 셈의 종이 되고 27. 하나님이 야벳을 昌大케 하사 셈의 帳幕에 居하게 하시고 가나안은 그의 종이 되게 하시기를 願하노라 하였더라 28. 洪水 후에 노아가 三百 五十年을 지내었고 29. 享年이 九百 五十歳에 죽었더라

後孫

創世記 10章

1. 노아의 아들 셈과 함과 야벳의 後裔는 이러하니라 洪水 後에 그들이 아들들을 낳았으니 2. 야벳의 아들은 고멜과 마곡과 마대와 야완과 두발과 메섹과 디라스요 3. 고멜의 아들은 아스그나스와 리밧과 도갈마요 4. 야완의 아들은 엘리사와 달시스와 깃딤과 도다님이라 5. 이들로부터 여러 나라 百姓으로 나뉘어서 各其 方言과 宗族과 나라대로 바닷가의 땅에 머물렀더라

6. 함의 아들은 구스와 미스라임과 붓과 가나안이요 7. 구스의 아들은 스바와 하윌라와 삽다와 라아마와 삽드가요 라아마의 아들은 스바와 드단이며 8. 구스가 또 니므롯을 낳았으니 그는 世上에 처음 英傑이라 9. 그가 여호와 앞에서 특이한 사냥軍이 되었으므로 俗談에 이르기를 아무는 여호와 앞에 니므롯 같은 特異한 사냥軍이로다 하더라 10. 그의 나라는 시날 땅의 바벨과 에렉과 악갓과 갈레에서 始作되었으며

11. 그가 그 땅에서 앗수르로 나아가 니느웨와 르호보딜과 갈라와 12. 및 니느웨와 갈라 사이의 레센（이는 큰 城이라）을 建築하였으며 13. 미스라임은 루딤과 아나밈과 르하빔과 납두힘과 14. 바드루심과 가슬루힘과 갑도림을 낳았더라 （블레셋이 가슬루힘에게서 나왔더라） 15. 가나안은 長子 시돈과 헷을 낳고

16. 또 여부스 族屬과 아모리 族屬과 기르가스 族屬과 17. 히위 族屬과 알가 族屬과 신 族屬과 18. 아르왓 族屬과 스말 族屬과 하맛 族屬의 祖上을 낳았더니 이 後로 가나안 子孫의 族屬이 흩어져 處하였더라 19. 가나안의 地境은 시돈에서부터 그랄을 지나 가사까지와 소돔과 고모라와 아드마와 스보임을 지나 라사까지였더라 20. 이들은 함의 子孫이라 各其 族屬과 方言과 地方과 나라대로이었더라

21. 셈은 에벨 온 子孫의 祖上이요 야벳의 兄이라 그에게도 子女가 出生하였으니 22. 셈의 아들은 엘람과 앗수르와 아르박삿과 룻과 아람이요 23. 아람의 아들은 우스와 훌과 게델과 마스며 24. 아르박삿은 셀라를 낳고 셀라는 에벨을 낳았으며 25. 에벨은 두 아들을 낳고 하나의 이름을 벨렉이라 하였으니 그 때에 世上이 나뉘었음이요 벨렉의 아우의 이름은 욕단이며

26. 욕단은 알모닷과 셀렙과 하살마웻（하살마웨ㅅ）과 예라와 27. 하도람과 우살과 디글라와 28. 오발과 아비마엘과 스바와 29. 오빌과 하윌라와 요밥을 낳았으니 이들은 다 욕단의 아들이며 30. 그들의 居하는 곳은 메사에서부터 스발로 가는 길의 東便 山이었더라

31. 이들은 셈의 子孫이라 그 族屬과 方言과 地方과 나라대로였더라 32. 이들은 노아 子孫의 族屬들이요 그 世系와 나라대로라 洪水 後에 이들에게서 땅의 列國 百姓이 나뉘었더라

 

창세기 11장

 

1. 온 땅의 口音이 하나이요 言語가 하나이었더라 2. 이에 그들이 東方으로 옮기다가 시날 平地를 만나 거기 居하고 3. 서로 말하되 자, 벽돌을 만들어 堅固히 굽자 하고 이에 벽돌로 돌을 代身하며 瀝靑으로 진흙을 代身하고 4. 또 말하되 자, 城과 臺를 쌓아 대 꼭대기를 하늘에 닿게하여 우리 이름을 내고 온 地面에 흩어짐을 免하자 하였더니 5. 여호와께서 人生들의 쌓는 城과 臺를 보시려고 降臨하셨더라

 

6. 여호와께서 가라사대 이 무리가 한 族屬이요 言語도 하나이므로 이같이 始作하였으니 以後로는 그 經營하는 일을 禁止할 수 없으리로다 7. 자, 우리가 내려가서 거기서 그들의 言語를 混雜케 하여 그들로 서로 알아듣지 못하게 하자 하시고 8. 여호와께서 거기서 그들을 온 地面에 흩으신고로 그들이 城 쌓기를 그쳤더라 9. 그러므로 그 이름을 바벨이라 하니 이는 여호와께서 거기서 온 땅의 言語를 混雜케 하셨음이라 여호와께서 거기서 그들을 온 地面에 흩으셨더라 10. 셈의 後裔는 이러하니라 셈은 一百歲 곧 洪水 후 二年에 아르박삿을 낳았고

11. 아르박삿을 낳은 후에 五百年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며 12. 아르박삿은 三十 五世에 셀라를 낳았고 13. 셀라를 낳은 後에 四百 삼년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며 14. 셀라는 삼십세에 에벨을 낳았고 15. 에벨을 낳은 후에 사백 三年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

16. 에벨은 三十 四歲에 벨렉을 낳았고 17. 벨렉을 낳은 後에 四百 三十年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며 18. 벨렉은 三十歲에 르우를 낳았고 19. 르우를 낳은 後에 二百 九年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며 20. 르우는 三十 二歲에 스룩을 낳았고

21. 스룩을 낳은 후에 二百 七年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며 22. 스룩은 三十歲에 나홀을 낳았고 23. 나홀을 낳은 後에 二百年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며 24. 나홀은 二十 九歲에 데라를 낳았고 25. 데라를 낳은 後에 一百 十九年을 지내며 子女를 낳았으며

26. 데라는 七十歲에 아브람과 나홀과 하란을 낳았더라 27. 데라의 後裔는 이러하니라 데라는 아브람과 나홀과 하란을 낳았고 하란은 롯을 낳았으며 28. 하란은 그 아비 데라보다 먼저 本土 갈대아 우르에서 죽었더라 29. 아브람과 나홀이 장가 들었으니 아브람의 아내 이름은 사래며 나홀의 아내 이름은 밀가니 하란의 딸이요 하란은 밀가의 아비며 또 이스가의 아비더라 30. 사래는 孕胎하지 못하므로 子息이 없었더라

31. 데라가 그 아들 아브람과 하란의 아들 그 孫子 롯과 그 姉夫 아브람의 아내 사래를 데리고 갈대아 우르에서 떠나 가나안 땅으로 가고자 하더니 하란에 이르러 거기 居하였으며 32. 데라는 二百 五歲를 享壽하고 하란에서 죽었더라

 

창세기 12

 

 

1. 여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 너의 本土 親戚 아비 집을 떠나 내가 네게 指示할 땅으로 가라 2. 내가 너로 큰 民族을 이루고 네게 福을 주어 네 이름을 昌大케 하리니 너는 福의 根源이 될찌라 3. 너를 祝福하는 者에게는 내가 福을 내리고 너를 詛呪하는 者에게는 내가 詛呪하리니 땅의 모든 族屬이 너를 因하여 福을 얻을 것이니라 하신지라 4. 이에 아브람이 여호와의 말씀을 좇아 갔고 롯도 그와 함께 갔으며 아브람이 하란을 떠날 때에 그 나이 七十 五歲였더라 5. 아브람이 그 아내 사래와 조카 롯과 하란에서 모은 모든 所有와 얻은 사람들을 이끌고 가나안 땅으로 가려고 떠나서 마침내 가나안 땅에 들어 갔더라

6. 아브람이 그 땅을 通過하여 세겜 땅 모레 상수리 나무에 이르니 그 때에 가나안 사람이 그 땅에 居하였더라 7. 여호와께서 아브람에게 나타나 가라사대 내가 이 땅을 네 子孫에게 주리라 하신지라 그가 自己에게 나타나신 여호와를 噕하여 그곳에 壇을 쌓고 8. 거기서 벧엘 東便 山으로 옮겨 帳幕을 치니 西는 벧엘이요 東은 아이라 그가 그곳에서 여호와를 위하여 壇을 쌓고 여호와의 이름을 부르더니 9. 점점 南方으로 옮겨 갔더라 10. 그 땅에 饑饉이 있으므로 아브람이 애굽에 寓居하려 하여 그리로 내려갔으니 이는 그 땅에 饑饉이 甚하였음이라

 

11. 그가 애굽에 가까이 이를 때에 그 아내 사래더러 말하되 나 알기에 그대는 아리따운 女人이라 12. 애굽 사람이 그대를 볼 때에 이르기를 이는 그의 아내라 하고 나는 죽이고 그대는 살리리니 13. 願컨대 그대는 나의 누이라 하라 그리하면 내가 그대로 因하여 安全하고 내 목숨이 그대로 因하여 保存하겠노라 하니라 14. 아브람이 애굽에 이르렀을 때에 애굽 사람들이 그 女人의 심히 아리따움을 보았고 15. 바로의 大臣들도 그를 보고 바로 앞에 稱讚하므로 그 女人을 바로의 宮으로 取하여 들인지라

16. 이에 바로가 그를 因하여 아브람을 厚待하므로 아브람이 羊과 소와 奴婢와 암 수 나귀와 약대를 얻었더라 17. 여호와께서 아브람의 아내 사래의 緣故로 바로와 그 집에 큰 災殃을 내리신지라 18. 바로가 아브람을 불러서 이르되 네가 어찌하여 나를 이렇게 待接하였느냐 네가 어찌하여 그를 네 아내라고 내게 告하지 아니하였느냐 19. 네가 어찌 그를 누이라 하여 나로 그를 取하여 아내를 삼게 하였느냐 네 아내가 여기 있으니 이제 데려가라 하고 20. 바로가 사람들에게 그의 일을 命하매 그들이 그 아내와 그 모든 所有를 보내었더라

 

 

 

창세기 구장

Genesis nine

1. 하나님이 노아와 그 아들들에게 복을 주시며 그들에게 이르시되 생육하고 번성하여 땅에 충만하라 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2. 땅의 모든 짐승과 공중의 모든 새와 땅에 기는 모든것과 바다의 모든 고기가 너희를 두려워하며 너희를 무서워하리니 이들은 너희 손에 붙이웠음이라 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 3. 무릇 산 동물은 너희의 식물이 될찌라 채소 같이 내가 이것을 다 너희에게 주노라 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. 4. 그러나 고기를 그 생명 되는 피채 먹지 말것이니라 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. 5. 내가 반드시 너희 피 곧 너희 생명의 피를 찾으리니 짐승이면 그 짐승에게서, 사람이나 사람의 형제면 그에게서 그의 생명을 찾으리라 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

 

6. 무릇 사람의 피를 흘리면 사람이 그 피를 흘릴 것이니 이는 하나님이 자기 형상대로 사람을 지었음이니라 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. 7. 너희는 생육하고 번성하며 땅에 편만하여 그 중에서 번성하라 하셨더라 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; 8. 하나님이 노아와 그와 함께한 아들들에게 일러 가라사대 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, 9내가 내 언약을 너희와 너희 후손과 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; 10너희와 함께한 모든 생물 곧 너희와 함께한 새와 육축과 땅의 모든 생물에게 세우리니 방주에서 나온 모든것 곧 땅의 모든 짐승에게니라 and with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.

11내가 너희와 언약을 세우리니 다시는 모든 생물을 홍수로 멸하지 아니할 것이라 땅을 침몰할 홍수가 다시 있지 아니하리라 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.   12하나님이 가라사대 내가 나와 너희와 및 너희와 함께하는 모든 생물 사이에 영세까지 세우는 언약의 증거는 이것이라 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13내가 내 무지개를 구름 속에 두었나니 이것이 나의 세상과의 언약의 증거니라 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. 14내가 구름으로 땅을 덮을 때에 무지개가 구름 속에 나타나면 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15내가 나와 너희와 및 혈기 있는 모든 생물 사이의 내 언약을 기억하리니 다시는 물이 모든 혈기 있는 자를 멸하는 홍수가 되지 아니할찌라

and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16. 무지개가 구름 사이에 있으리니 내가 보고 나 하나님과 땅의 무릇 혈기 있는 모든 생물 사이에 된 영원한 언약을 기억하리라 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth 17하나님이 노아에게 또 이르시되 내가 나와 땅에 있는 모든 생물 사이에 세운 언약의 증거가 이것이라 하셨더라 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.   18방주에서 나온 노아의 아들들은 셈과 함과 야벳이며 함은 가나안의 아비라 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. 19노아의 이 세 아들로 좇아 백성이 온 땅에 퍼지니라   These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

20노아가 농업을 시작하여 포도나무를 심었더니 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21. 포도주를 마시고 취하여 그 장막 안에서 벌거벗은지라 and he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22가나안의 아비 함이 그 아비의 하체를 보고 밖으로 나가서 두 형제에게 고하매 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. 23셈과 야벳이 옷을 취하여 자기들의 어깨에 메고 뒷걸음쳐 들어가서 아비의 하체에 덮었으며 그들이 얼굴을 돌이키고 그 아비의 하체를 보지 아니하였더라 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. 24노아가 술이 깨어 그 작은 아들이 자기에게 행한 일을 알고 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

21. 25이에 가로되 가나안은 저주를 받아 그 형제의 종들의 종이 되기를 원하노라 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.   26. 또 가로되 셈의 하나님 여호와를 찬송하리로다 가나안은 셈의 종이 되고 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; And Canaan shall be his servant. 26. 하나님이 야벳을 창대케 하사 셈의 장막에 거하게 하시고 가나안은 그의 종이 되게 하시기를 원하노라 하였더라 God shall enlarge Japheth, And he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; And Canaan shall be his servant. 28홍수 후에 노아가 삼백 오십년을 지내었고 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. 29향년이 구백 오십세에 죽었더라 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

Genesis ten

Noah's Descendants

 

1. 노아의 아들 셈과 함과 야벳의 후예는 이러하니라 홍수 후에 그들이 아들들을 낳았으니 1Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. 2. 야벳의 아들은 고멜과 마곡과 마대와 야완과 두발과 메섹과 디라스요 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. 3. 고멜의 아들은 아스그나스와 리밧과 도갈마요And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. 4. 야완의 아들은 엘리사와 달시스와 깃딤과 도다님이라And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 5이들로부터 여러 나라 백성으로 나뉘어서 각기 방언과 종족과 나라대로 바닷가의 땅에 머물렀더라these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

6. 함의 아들은 구스와 미스라임과 붓과 가나안이요By And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. 7. 구스의 아들은 스바와 하윌라와 삽다와 라아마와 삽드가요 라아마의 아들은 스바와 드단이며7And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. 8. 구스가 또 니므롯을 낳았으니 그는 세상에 처음 영걸이라8And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. 9. 그가 여호와 앞에서 특이한 사냥군이 되었으므로 속담에 이르기를 아무는 여호와 앞에 니므롯 같은 특이한 사냥군이로다 하더라9He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. 10. 그의 나라는 시날 땅의 바벨과 에렉과 악갓과 갈레에서 시작되었으며10And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

11. 그가 그 땅에서 앗수르로 나아가 니느웨와 르호보딜과 갈라와11Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah, 12및 니느웨와 갈라 사이의 레센（이는 큰 성이라）을 건축하였으며12and Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city. 13미스라임은 루딤과 아나밈과 르하빔과 납두힘과13And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, 14바드루심과 가슬루힘과 갑도림을 낳았더라 （블레셋이 가슬루힘에게서 나왔더라）14and Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim. 15가나안은 장자 시돈과 헷을 낳고15And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,

16. 또 여부스 족속과 아모리 족속과 기르가스 족속과16and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite, 17. 히위 족속과 알가 족속과 신 족속과17and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite, 18. 아르왓 족속과 스말 족속과 하맛 족속의 조상을 낳았더니 이 후로 가나안 자손의 족속이 흩어져 처하였더라18and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. 19가나안의 지경은 시돈에서부터 그랄을 지나 가사까지와 소돔과 고모라와 아드마와 스보임을 지나 라사까지였더라19And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha. 20이들은 함의 자손이라 각기 족속과 방언과 지방과 나라대로이었더라20These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

21. 셈은 에벨 온 자손의 조상이요 야벳의 형이라 그에게도 자녀가 출생하였으니21Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born. 22셈의 아들은 엘람과 앗수르와 아르박삿과 룻과 아람이요22The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram. 23아람의 아들은 우스와 훌과 게델과 마스며23And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash. 24아르박삿은 셀라를 낳고 셀라는 에벨을 낳았으며24And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber. 에벨은 두 아들을 낳고 하나의 이름을 벨렉이라 하였으니 그 때에 세상이 나뉘었음이요 벨렉의 아우의 이름은 욕단이며25And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

26. 욕단은 알모닷과 셀렙과 하살마웻（하살마웨ㅅ）과 예라와26And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, 27. 하도람과 우살과 디글라와27and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah, 28. 오발과 아비마엘과 스바와28and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, 29. 오빌과 하윌라와 요밥을 낳았으니 이들은 다 욕단의 아들이며29and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan. 30. 그들의 거하는 곳은 메사에서부터 스발로 가는 길의 동편 산이었더라30And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.

31. 이들은 셈의 자손이라 그 족속과 방언과 지방과 나라대로였더라31These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations. 32. 이들은 노아 자손의 족속들이요 그 세계와 나라대로라 홍수 후에 이들에게서 땅의 열국 백성이 나뉘었더라32These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

Genesis eleven

God calls Abraham

1. 온 땅의 구음이 하나이요 언어가 하나이었더라 1And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2. 이에 그들이 동방으로 옮기다가 시날 평지를 만나 거기 거하고 2And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3. 서로 말하되 자, 벽돌을 만들어 견고히 굽자 하고 이에 벽돌로 돌을 대신하며 역청으로 진흙을 대신하고3And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4. 또 말하되 자, 성과 대를 쌓아 대 꼭대기를 하늘에 닿게하여 우리 이름을 내고 온 지면에 흩어짐을 면하자 하였더니4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5. 여호와께서 인생들의 쌓는 성과 대를 보시려고 강림하셨더라5And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6.

6. 여호와께서 가라사대 이 무리가 한 족속이요 언어도 하나이므로 이같이 시작하였으니 이후로는 그 경영하는 일을 금지할 수 없으리로다6And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7. 자, 우리가 내려가서 거기서 그들의 언어를 혼잡케 하여 그들로 서로 알아듣지 못하게 하자 하시고.Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8. 여호와께서 거기서 그들을 온 지면에 흩으신고로 그들이 성 쌓기를 그쳤더라So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9. 그러므로 그 이름을 바벨이라 하니 이는 여호와께서 거기서 온 땅의 언어를 혼잡케 하셨음이라 여호와께서 거기서 그들을 온 지면에 흩으셨더라Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. 셈의 후예는 이러하니라 셈은 일백세 곧 홍수 후 이년에 아르박삿을 낳았고10These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

11. 아르박삿을 낳은 후에 오백년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며11and Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 12. 아르박삿은 삼십 오세에 셀라를 낳았고2And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: 13. 셀라를 낳은 후에 사백 삼년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며 14.  13and Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. 셀라는 삼십세에 에벨을 낳았고14And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: 15. 에벨을 낳은 후에 사백 삼년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

15and Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

16. 에벨은 삼십 사세에 벨렉을 낳았고16And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: 17. 벨렉을 낳은 후에 사백 삼십년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며17and Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. 18. 벨렉은 삼십세에 르우를 낳았고18And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 19. 르우를 낳은 후에 이백 구년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며19and Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters. 20. 르우는 삼십 이세에 스룩을 낳았고  21. 20And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:

21. 스룩을 낳은 후에 이백 칠년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며21and Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters. 22. 스룩은 삼십세에 나홀을 낳았고22And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: 23. 나홀을 낳은 후에 이백년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며3and Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 24. 나홀은 이십 구세에 데라를 낳았고24And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: 25. 데라를 낳은 후에 일백 십구년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며25and Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.

26. 데라는 칠십세에 아브람과 나홀과 하란을 낳았더라26And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. 27. 데라의 후예는 이러하니라 데라는 아브람과 나홀과 하란을 낳았고 하란은 롯을 낳았으며27Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot. 28. 하란은 그 아비 데라보다 먼저 본토 갈대아 우르에서 죽었더라28And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees. 29. 아브람과 나홀이 장가 들었으니 아브람의 아내 이름은 사래며 나홀의 아내 이름은 밀가니 하란의 딸이요 하란은 밀가의 아비며 또 이스가의 아비더라29And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah. 30. 사래는 잉태하지 못하므로 자식이 없었더라30But Sarai was barren; she had no child.

31. 데라가 그 아들 아브람과 하란의 아들 그 손자 롯과 그 자부 아브람의 아내 사래를 데리고 갈대아 우르에서 떠나 가나안 땅으로 가고자 하더니 하란에 이르러 거기 거하였으며31And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. 32. 데라는 이백 오세를 향수하고 하란에서 죽었더라32And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

 

 

창세기 십이장

1. 여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 너의 본토 친척 아비 집을 떠나 내가 네게 지시할 땅으로 가라Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2. 내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 창대케 하리니 너는 복의 근원이 될찌라and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3. 너를 축복하는 자에게는 내가 복을 내리고 너를 저주하는 자에게는 내가 저주하리니 땅의 모든 족속이 너를 인하여 복을 얻을 것이니라 하신지라and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4. 5. 이에 아브람이 여호와의 말씀을 좇아 갔고 롯도 그와 함께 갔으며 아브람이 하란을 떠날 때에 그 나이 칠십 오세였더라So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. 6. 아브람이 그 아내 사래와 조카 롯과 하란에서 모은 모든 소유와 얻은 사람들을 이끌고 가나안 땅으로 가려고 떠나서 마침내 가나안 땅에 들어 갔더라And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. 7.

6. 아브람이 그 땅을 통과하여 세겜 땅 모레 상수리 나무에 이르니 그 때에 가나안 사람이 그 땅에 거하였더라And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. 7. 8. 여호와께서 아브람에게 나타나 가라사대 내가 이 땅을 네 자손에게 주리라 하신지라 그가 자기에게 나타나신 여호와를 위하여 그곳에 단을 쌓고And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him 9. 거기서 벧엘 동편 산으로 옮겨 장막을 치니 서는 벧엘이요 동은 아이라 그가 그곳에서 여호와를 위하여 단을 쌓고 여호와의 이름을 부르더니And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Beth-el, and pitched his tent, having Beth-el on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. 10. 11. 점점 남방으로 옮겨 갔더라And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. 12. 그 땅에 기근이 있으므로 아브람이 애굽에 우거하려 하여 그리로 내려갔으니 이는 그 땅에 기근이 심하였음이라And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. 13.

11. 그가 애굽에 가까이 이를 때에 그 아내 사래더러 말하되 나 알기에 그대는 아리따운 여인이라And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: 애굽 사람이 그대를 볼 때에 이르기를 이는 그의 아내라 하고 나는 죽이고 그대는 살리리니therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. 12. 13. 원컨대 그대는 나의 누이라 하라 그리하면 내가 그대로 인하여 안전하고 내 목숨이 그대로 인하여 보존하겠노라 하니라Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. 14. 아브람이 애굽에 이르렀을 때에 애굽 사람들이 그 여인의 심히 아리따움을 보았고Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. 11. 바로의 대신들도 그를 보고 바로 앞에 칭찬하므로 그 여인을 바로의 궁으로 취하여 들인지라And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair

16. 이에 바로가 그를 인하여 아브람을 후대하므로 아브람이 양과 소와 노비와 암 수 나귀와 약대를 얻었더라he princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. 17. 18. 여호와께서 아브람의 아내 사래의 연고로 바로와 그 집에 큰 재앙을 내리신지라And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife. 19. 바로가 아브람을 불러서 이르되 네가 어찌하여 나를 이렇게 대접하였느냐 네가 어찌하여 그를 네 아내라고 내게 고하지 아니하였느냐And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? 20. 네가 어찌 그를 누이라 하여 나로 그를 취하여 아내를 삼게 하였느냐 네 아내가 여기 있으니 이제 데려가라 하고Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. 21. 바로가 사람들에게 그의 일을 명하매 그들이 그 아내와 그 모든 소유를 보내었더라And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had. 22.

9장-6절 너희는 생육하고 번성하며 땅에 편만하여 그 중에서 번성하라 하셨더라

And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

31. 10장32 이들은 노아 자손의 족속들이요 그 세계와 나라대로라 홍수 31. 후에 이들에게서 땅의 열국 백성이 나뉘었더라32These are the 31. families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in 31. their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the 31. earth after the flood.
